Delete your data

You do not have to give up your BikeCare account to get rid of data. This page explains how to delete individual entries or everything you have stored – your account, your username and a running subscription stay untouched. You need neither the app nor an account login to do so.

Delete individual entries

You delete every bike, ride, part and service entry directly in the app via the ✕ on the entry. Deleted items stay in the trash for 30 days (Settings → Data & backup → Trash) and can be restored from there; afterwards they are gone for good – on our servers and on all of your devices too.

Delete all data at once

Settings → Data → Reset app. This removes all bikes, parts, rides and the entire service history – permanently, in your account and on all of your devices. There is no trash for this. Your account stays; you can simply start over afterwards.

Request deletion without the app

Can't get to the app, want specific data removed, or are unsure what is stored where? Write to support@bikecare.app – ideally from the email address of your account. We confirm receipt and delete the data within 30 days (Art. 17 GDPR). Your account stays.

What this does NOT delete

Your account itself (email, name, password) and your community entries (username, friendships, groups, leaderboard entry) remain. If you want those gone as well, you need full account deletion: delete your BikeCare account.

If there was a paid Pro subscription, we have to keep the associated invoice and payment data for up to 10 years for tax and commercial law reasons (§ 147 AO). This data is held solely for that purpose and is not used for anything else – even if you delete everything else.
